JOB TITLE:     Board Certified Behavior Analyst          
Department:   Adult services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and /or autism.  This position is full time.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  The BCBA will provide direct ABA services and program supervision to adults who receive day or residential services.  This position may also provide consultation to individuals who are under the age of 22 and receive services through Family Supports division.  This position will work in partnership with one other staff ABA clinician and will be part of the agency Positive Behavioral Supports Team.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director                                  
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  none
Essential duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include assessing skill levels and behavioral support needs, designing and developing teaching programs to address skill acquisition targets, and developing behavioral support plans as needed. Provide training for program staff in the provision of direct services, monitoring for quality control, data analysis, and consulting with families and other professionals. Providing general staff training on autism and effectively working with individuals with autism. Developing and being part of the Positive Behavioral supports Leadership Team. Provide services within the Department of Developmental services regulations. Attend team meetings as necessary. Attend monthly senior management staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:  Master’s degree in special education, early childhood development, and/or related fields, and experience working with families and children with disabilities
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required. 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  Acceptable criminal record (CORI) required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT   The Arc of the South Shore operates smoke-free facilities.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, occasionally loud.
Travel between program locations in Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Rockland and Hingham and other contiguous towns, may be required on a daily basis.

Department: Day Services
Responsible To: Habilitation Coordinator/Director of Day Services
Basic QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Education/Experience/Training:   Bachelor’s degree with one year’s experience in a training program for adults with developmental. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least two year’s experience in a training program working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Relief staff needed! Must have 1st Aid Cert., valid driver license, acceptable CORI & clean driver record. Work hands-on w/MR population.  Responsibilities include ensuring resident health & safety, developing & implementing ISP goals & recreational & community supports. Experience in field of developmental disabilities preferred. MAP Certification a plus!
