JOB TITLE:     Board Certified Behavior Analyst          
Department:   Adult services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and /or autism.      This position will initially be part time, up to 20 hours per week with the potential to increase to a full time 40 hour position in 2016.   
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:  The BCBA will provide direct ABA services and program supervision to adults who receive day or residential services.  This position may also provide consultation to individuals who are under the age of 22 and receive services through Family Supports division.  This position will work in partnership with one other staff ABA clinician and will be part of the agency Positive Behavioral Supports Team.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director                                  
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  none
Essential duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include assessing skill levels and behavioral support needs, designing and developing teaching programs to address skill acquisition targets, and developing behavioral support plans as needed. Provide training for program staff in the provision of direct services, monitoring for quality control, data analysis, and consulting with families and other professionals. Providing general staff training on autism and effectively working with individuals with autism. Developing and being part of the Positive Behavioral supports Leadership Team. Provide services within the Department of Developmental services regulations. Attend team meetings as necessary. Attend monthly senior management staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:  Master’s degree in special education, early childhood development, and/or related fields, and experience working with families and children with disabilities
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required. 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  Acceptable criminal record (CORI) required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT   The Arc of the South Shore operates smoke-free facilities.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, occasionally loud.
Travel between program locations in Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Rockland and Hingham and other contiguous towns, may be required on a daily basis.  

Position: Day Hab Support Staff (Full Time, M-F 8am – 4pm)

Location:
Day Habilitation Program, 371 River St. Weymouth MA
Summary: Full time position for energetic and qualified individual to work directly with adults with Intellectual and Developmental disabilities in our day habilitation program.  Responsibilities include instruction of daily living skills, physically assisting individuals with ADL’s and implementation of the individual’s Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives and documenting their progress.  This position requires ability to physically assist adults with disabilities, including lifting.  At least 1 year’s experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required.  Acceptable CORI required.

Position: Day Hab Healthcare Supervisor-RN (Part-time)

Location: 
371 River St. N. Weymouth
Summary: Part-time position M-W-F from 8:30 AM- 3:30 PM. (days are tentative, may be negotiable).  Start Date 9/14/15
Responsibilities include: oversee all health-care services provided to members of the program; provide direct care and training in relevant areas; coordinate medical services with each member’s PCP; participate in the interdisciplinary evaluation and review of each member’s needs and status. 
Qualifications: RN currently registered with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and must have one year of work experience in a training program for persons with developmental disabilities.

Position:                      VAN DRIVER
Location:                     South Shore Arc  371 River St  N. Weymouth MA  02191

Summary:
Monday through Friday; split shift, approximately 6:45 – 8:30am and 3pm-4:45pm.  Involves driving a 15 passenger van, picking up individuals with DD at their homes in the AM and bringing them to Harbor Industries @ 365 River St N. Weymouth and returning to the program around 3pm to drive those same individuals to their homes in the afternoon.  The van stays at our program during the day. 

Qualifications:  Acceptable CORI
Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
Good Driving Record

Summary:  Provide on-going instruction (informal & formal) to individuals concerning:  socialization, normalization, ADLs, hygiene assistance, expressive and receptive communication, work skills and community integration.

Provide support and opportunities for individuals to enrich their lives, develop personal skills and competencies and enjoy a full range of activities while developing a network of caring relationships in the greater community.  Assist individuals to be become involved and contribute to the life of their community, including job coaching duties. 

Qualifications:  High school diploma with at least 1 year related experience or a Bachelors Degree in related field.  Able to lift 20-30 lbs.

 Position:                             Van Driver/PT (~18hrs/wk)

Location:                                 Randolph/Braintree area for Harbor Industries
