Position:     Day Hab Support Staff/Full-time (M-F)
                       Day Hab Support Staff/Part-time (M-F – 9:30am – 2:30 pm)

Location:                                 371 River St. N. Weymouth MA

Summary:  Full time position for energetic and qualified individual to work directly with adults with Developmental Disabilities in our Day Hab program. Responsibilities include instruction of daily living skills; assistance with personal care needs and behavioral needs; implementation of individual’s Day Hab Service Plan objectives and documentation of progress; and the assistance and supervision of meaningful and therapeutic activities in the community.

Qualifications:  High school diploma with at least 1 years experience working with adults with ID/DD or a Bachelors Degree in related field with at least 6 months experience working with adults w/ID/DD.

Position:                              CBDS Instructor

Location:                                 365 River St. N. Weymouth & in Community sites

Summary:  Provide on-going instruction (informal & formal) to individuals concerning:  socialization, normalization, ADLs, hygiene assistance, expressive and receptive communication, work skills and community integration.

Provide support and opportunities for individuals to enrich their lives, develop personal skills and competencies and enjoy a full range of activities while developing a network of caring relationships in the greater community.  Assist individuals to be become involved and contribute to the life of their community, including job coaching duties. 

Qualifications:  High school diploma with at least 1 year related experience or a Bachelors Degree in related field.  Able to lift 20-30 lbs.

 
Position:                             Van Driver/PT (~18hrs/wk)

Location:                                 Randolph/Braintree area for Harbor Industries

Summary:  Monday through Friday; split shift, approximately 6:45-8:30 AM & 3-4:45 PM. Involves driving a 15-passenger van, picking up individuals w/DD at their homes in the AM and bringing them to Harbor Industries @ 365 River St. N. Weymouth and returning to the program around 3 PM to drive those same individuals to their homes in the afternoon. The van stays at our program during the day.                                        

Qualifications:  Must have good driving record. Reliability is a must. Preference is  given to individuals with experience in the human services’ field as well experience driving large vehicles.
