JOB TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Department: Adult services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and /or autism. This position will initially be part time, up to 20 hours per week with the potential to increase to a full time 40 hour position in 2016.
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The BCBA will provide direct ABA services and program supervision to adults who receive day or residential services. This position may also provide consultation to individuals who are under the age of 22 and receive services through Family Supports division. This position will work in partnership with one other staff ABA clinician and will be part of the agency Positive Behavioral Supports Team.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: none
Essential duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include assessing skill levels and behavioral support needs, designing and developing teaching programs to address skill acquisition targets, and developing behavioral support plans as needed. Provide training for program staff in the provision of direct services, monitoring for quality control, data analysis, and consulting with families and other professionals. Providing general staff training on autism and effectively working with individuals with autism. Developing and being part of the Positive Behavioral supports Leadership Team. Provide services within the Department of Developmental services regulations. Attend team meetings as necessary. Attend monthly senior management staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in special education, early childhood development, and/or related fields, and experience working with families and children with disabilities
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Acceptable criminal record (CORI) required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The Arc of the South Shore operates smoke-free facilities. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, occasionally loud.
Travel between program locations in Weymouth, Braintree, Milton, Rockland and Hingham and other contiguous towns, may be required on a daily basis.

Position: Day Hab Program Manager

Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for the daily ongoing operation of all facets of the day habilitation program. Responsive for the coordination of all staff activated to meet the program objectives and oversight of all individual services. Must adhere to all MassHealth and DDS regulations and oversee compliance. Responsible for the training of staff and assists Director in the hiring of staff members.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a health-care related field required plus a minimm of five years of professional health-care experience. At least two of those years must have been spent in an administrative role and for persons with Developmental Disabilities. Strong written and oral skills required. Strong computer skills including word, excel and Microsoft outlook. Must have strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Position: VAN DRIVER

Summary: Monday through Friday; split shift, approximately 6:45 – 8:30am and 3pm-4:45pm. Involves driving a 15 passenger van, picking up individuals with DD at their homes in the AM and bringing them to Harbor Industries @ 365 River St N. Weymouth and returning to the program around 3pm to drive those same individuals to their homes in the afternoon. The van stays at our program during the day.
