Training Information

The Arc of the South Shore and other local Arc Chapters offer many educational programs throughout the year.  Here is a list of upcoming seminars and workshops, with contact information. Since additional programs are frequently added, check back for up-to-date information on educational opportunities.

  • ~ March 5 & 6 - 9 am to 3 pm - Cognitive Behavior therapy for Children and Adolescents with Asperger Syndrome - 2 Day workshop for practicing professionals - Waltham, MA - Sponsored by Asperger's Association of New England in conjunction with Jewish Family & Children's Services.   • ~ March 16 - Basic Rights Denied - Presented by SPEDWatch - You know how difficult it can be advocating for educational services for a child with disabilities. The biggest barrier that parents and others fact in their efforts is good, useable, information about special education rights and process.
